Charity

Charity is a Veterinary Technician and is responsible for patient care, keeping the day running smoothly during appointments and surgical procedures, all while maintaining optimal patient care. Charity started working at a small vet practice in Boyce, Virginia in high school. She started cleaning kennels and assisting in appointments. She gradually progressed into a vet assistant and then eventually obtained her degree in animal science in 2003. Charity started working a veterinary emergency hospital in Washington DC where she learned about her passion for veterinary dentistry. She moved on to become the lead dental/surgical technician for five years. Charity has been with the ACPCW team since October of 2020. Charity is a single mom of three kids, a diabetic cat and two parakeets. She grew up in Virginia and enjoys being outdoors and wants to retire by the water. Charity is inspired by seeing people working together as a team and helping others. Charity loves the technical aspect of veterinary medicine, i.e. anesthesia, lab work, dentistry. Charity is thorough and loves to make sure clients have clear expectations and understanding of patient care.
